Scripture Reading: John 8:31-32 (NIV)
“To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, ‘If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’”
Reflection
Jesus calls us to abide in His teachings, promising that His truth will bring freedom. In a world filled with competing voices and distractions, staying rooted in Christ’s words anchors us in what is eternal and unchanging. John 8:31-32 reminds us that true discipleship involves not just hearing God’s Word but living it out daily.
Abiding in Christ’s truth transforms how we see ourselves and others. It frees us from lies about our worth, purpose, or future, replacing them with God’s promises. By immersing ourselves in Scripture and applying it, we grow closer to Jesus and experience the liberation that comes from walking in His truth.
Application

Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for Your truth that sets me free. Help me to abide in Your teachings, growing as Your disciple each day. Guide me by Your Word, and give me discernment to reject lies and embrace Your promises. In Your holy name, Amen.
