Scripture: Lamentations 3:22-23 (NIV)
“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

God’s mercy is a gift that renews us daily. Despite our shortcomings, His compassion never runs dry. Each morning, we wake up to a fresh start, an opportunity to experience His love and grace. This passage from Lamentations reminds us that God’s mercy is not a one-time offer but a constant, faithful presence in our lives. When we feel overwhelmed or unworthy, we can rest in the truth that His mercy is always there, ready to restore us.
Application:
Take a moment to reflect on a time when you felt God’s mercy in your life—perhaps a moment of second chances or unexpected grace. Today, extend that same mercy to someone else. Offer kindness, patience, or forgiveness to someone who may not “deserve” it, mirroring God’s heart toward you.
