“Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you.”

Surrendering to God is not about giving up but about gaining freedom. When we submit our plans, fears, and desires to Him, we allow His perfect will to guide us. James reminds us that drawing near to God brings His presence closer, creating a life of purpose and peace. Today, consider what you need to surrender to experience the freedom of trusting God fully.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I surrender my heart and plans to You today. Help me to draw near to You, trusting Your guidance over my own understanding. Give me the strength to resist temptation and walk in Your freedom. Amen.
