Scripture: Psalm 46:10 (NIV)
“He says, ‘Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.’”
Reflection:
In our fast-paced lives, stillness can feel unnatural, yet God invites us to pause and acknowledge His sovereignty. Being still is not just about physical rest but about quieting our hearts to trust that God is in control. When we surrender our worries and busyness, we create space to experience His presence and power.
Application:
Set aside five minutes today to be still before God. Turn off distractions, sit quietly, and focus on the truth that He is God. As you do, release one specific worry or task to Him, trusting that He is working in it.
Prayer:
God, You are exalted above all. Help me to be still and trust in Your power and presence. Quiet my heart and fill me with Your peace today. Amen.
