A dad came in to talk to a minister. He was talking needing prayer for his kids.
I looked at his screen name and it was “Dad of three disobedient children”
The minister was like.. “Bro, hold on. Do you not see what you’re speaking over your kids?
Do you not see what you grabbed a hold of and owned is yours?
See, what the devil wants you to do is focus on the situation, focus on the event.
Focus on the lack, the loss and perceived limitation.
Look, that’s all the devil’s ever wanted you to do.
Focus on the lack, focus on the loss, focus on the limitation.
Because if I focus on those things, that’s what I will speak about, and if that’s what I speak about, that’s what I will have more of.
So the devil doesn’t listen.
Devil doesn’t need to do horrible things to you all day.
All he needs to do is to get you focus on the things that are already horrible,
and now you are doing his job for you,
because now he doesn’t need to create these situations in your life
because you’re creating because you’re speaking them.
So if he can get you to focus on what’s already broken, or what’s already missing or what’s already.
Then you will do his job for him, and create more of it.
